On behalf of the Illinois Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects, we are pleased to announce the U.I.C. Portfolio/Resume Workshop to be held March 05, 2012 from 6pm-8pm at the University of Illinois School of Architecture, Building AA located at 845 W. Harrison Street.

The workshop is an opportunity to combine students in the Chicago area with professional architects so that the student’s work can be reviewed in a low pressure setting. This will also enable us to continue INOMA’s most noble goal: Motivating and inspiring college youth.

INOMA is dedicated to producing licensed Architects one professional at a time through education, mentoring, and continued professional excellence. The workshop allows Architectural Professionals an avenue to give back to the Architectural Community. That avenue promotes the most important components of the chapter’s mission: The development of public and private partnerships, committed to developing the minds of future Architects.

Admission to the workshop is free; however a suggested donation of $1.00 per individual is encouraged. That donation will help cover the expense of the refreshments. You can also give back to the Architectural community by sponsoring future events held by NOMA. Please see our monthly calendar for Upcoming Events.

75 % of a donation of $ 200.00 or more will be put towards a scholarship. Please see our website.

50 % of a donation from $ 50.00 to $ 150.00 will be used to support the catering at the other events on the calendar. Your name or your firms name will be highlighted at the Buffet.
