This past December 2010 INOMA’s Christmas party was hosted by AIA Chicago in their downtown Chicago Headquarters.  We had a great turn out of old and new members alike.  New officers took their elected positions.  Bryan W. Hudson – President, Telly L. Jefferson Vice President,  Brooke Henton – Treasurer, Erroll V. O’Neil- Historian and James Holland Parlimentarian.  INOMA reinstated our scholarship program as well.  Students from IIT, University of Michigan and Howard received scholarships in the total amount of $3,500.00.  Peggy Brazley is the provider of the Brazley scholarship which is awarded to African American Architecture students that are Illinois residents.  The scholarship is named after her late husband William whose dream was to see more African American architects in Illinois .  Please keep on the look out for future INOMA events and opportunities.
